The first bell rings at 8.45am and students are dismissed to catch buses at 3.25pm. If you are late to college you must report to the Student Services Centre. Sports practices normally finish at 4.30pm.
Please phone the attendance officer if your child is unable to come to college. When students return to college after an absence they must bring a note stating the number of days and the reason for the absence. This note must be signed by a parent or caregiver and be given to the form teacher, even if there has already been phone contact.
A roll will be called at each class and form time. A letter will be sent home if a student misses three consecutive days without explanation in most instances.
Students must remain on the college grounds throughout the day, unless granted a pass from the Student Services Centre. This requires a note from home or written permission from a dean.
A student who needs medical attention while at college should report to the Student Services Centre. Parents will be contacted to collect students from college.
The college accepts no responsibility for unnecessary valuables, mobile phones, i-Pods or large sums of money brought to college. Such items can be handed in to the college reception for safekeeping.
Students wearing non-uniform items must report to a deputy principal at the start of the college day by the Student Services Centre. The student must bring a note from a parent or caregiver if they are to be excused. Confiscated non-uniform items can be collected at the end of the term by students or earlier by caregivers.
All personal property should be clearly named. Please report to the college reception if you have lost/misplaced any items.
Permits allowing students to drive vehicles to college and park them in the student car park will be issued at the discretion of the deputy principal. Application forms can be obtained from the Student Services Centre.
Students must be dropped off and picked up from the Rockfield Road Entry.
All visitors must report to the college reception where requests will be dealt with in an appropriate manner. Members of the public are not permitted to walk around the college without permission from the college reception.
